MT. HOREB YOUTH MINISTRY
The mission of the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church Youth Ministry is to engage the youth of our community in a relationship with God. We will strive to help them grow in their faith in Jesus Christ and to enjoy and share God’s love.
Youth engagement should be:
- Shaped by the life and ministry of Jesus Christ
- Provided in a place that exhibits openness, compassion, patience, kindness and peace so that the Word will be better heard and demonstrated.
- Conducted in partnership with the families and the community of faith at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church
- Focused on building relationships following Jesus’s example.
Youth should be equipped in:
- Spiritual growth
- Leadership development
- Community service minded
- Characteristics of gladness, happiness and joy.
